    “I have a Masters Degree in Education. I am an Australian and this is now my third year at SIS. I am a dedicated, student focused teacher who loves teaching and the “soul” of SIS. “
  • I Gusti Made Dwi Guna

    I graduated from a Bachelor’s Degree in Indonesian Language and Literature. I love drawing. I also write and illustrate children’s books. I have won in Books Writing Competition that was held by Indonesian Ministry of Education within two years in a row. 

  • Bianca Ragone
    I am from the U.S. where I earned my Masters Degree in Primary and Special Education. I have 6 years of experience teaching students from preschool to 5th grade in Hawaii, Florida, and most recently in Siem Reap, Cambodia. My approach to teaching is to support the growth of the “whole child” in a fun, safe and orderly learning environment. As a yoga and meditation practitioner and instructor, I also include mindfulness-based practices in the classroom to help my students develop self-regulation, coordination, focus, and bodily and spatial awareness. I am very honored to be a part the of the SIS community!
  • Thomas Franklin

    I am British teacher and am dynamic and fun and love sports (especially swimming)! I have 8 years experiences in teaching and also hold Master Degree. In addition, I am Director of Open Ocean Swimming and have recently founded the grass roots social enterprise City Kids Surfing in England. I enjoy travelling around Indonesia at weekends and keeping fit during the week. Teaching at SIS is awesome!

    I am highly professional and dedicated teacher. With my 6 years teaching experiences in England, Singapore and now in Indonesia, I create inclusive classroom environments where all learners are valued and celebrated. I am fully committed to my professional development and enjoy new challenges and learning experiences.

  • Penelope Corbett

    I am Penelope, but am generally called ‘Penny’. I was a teacher of English and Media Studies for 11 years in Te Awamutu New Zealand.  Five years ago I married Andrew, 5 days later we left NZ to explore life in other parts of the world. I joined QSI Phuket in 2014 / 15 where I taught technology, cultural studies and intensive English. In 2016 I transferred to QSI Shenzhen where I have taught grades 5 and 6. In my spare time I guess I am still a teacher as I love film, reading and writing.

  • Putu Sugiartha

    I have experiences in teaching sport for more than 15 years. I teach my students not only about theory and practical skills about sport. I believe that each child must also has sportsmanship and self discipline to gain their self confidence and success in the future.

    As an Art Teacher, I had been working in SIS for nearly 12 years.  With my lovely wife Ibu Ita, we established Davincio Magic Art School and Early Centre in Denpasar. With my passion in teaching early childhood and art  , I run my own program on Bali TV and Dewata TV regularly in teaching art made of recycle materials that can easily be found around us.
